hi all' i have a vauxhall calibra 1992 j reg 16v and was thinking about changing the spark plugs. can anyone suggest which type would be best for this type of car? reason for changing them is i seem to have lost some power in acceleration.. many thanks

Check the Cat converter hasen't decided to fail as when they do bits break up and block the exhaust = loss of power.
Also check crank case speed sensor.
BY PUTTING A NEW ONE ON I GUARANTEE YOUR CAR WILL BE BETTER AND FASTER.
A bit like changing the dizzy cap on old motors.
Is your engine a red top or eco teck 16v.
Finally But the most expensive plugs you can for your car if its power you are after.
I would check the first things i mentioned first.

contact your spare parts dealer he will suggest you well.
if your changing the plugs i would advise changing the leads as well unless they have been recently done. also improving the air intake or even replacing the air filter will help.
