Random misfiring after changing spark plugs?

i changed the spark plugs the other day in my 1999 seat ibiza cupra sport 8v, when startin the car after i changed the spark plugs it spluttered to start and then idle at 1000rpm. Then after about 30 seconds of drivin the car it started to misfire (juddering and jerking) it did this for about 30 seconds. Then the car ran normal for the rest of the day with no more misfiring. has anyone experienced this before or can anyone bring light to the situation?

You could have simply have sucked up some water in the fuel system.

Or, one of your spark plug wires isn't all the way on the spark plug.

Double check them. They should give a light %26quot;click%26quot; when they go on all the way.

First thing to check is the last thing you touched.

Make sure the firing order is correct for your car, and you put every wire

back in its orignal spot, one mix up and the car will loose alot of power, jerking.

cause that one piston is off, check it all over again, chances are wrong firing order

and put the wire and plug in the wrong cylinder bank.
There could be two things wrong; 1. Your wires are not connected in the correct firing order or, 2. One or more of your spark plugs are improperly gapped or are loose in the cylinder (the latter can be very dangerous). Is this your first tune-up? Did you replace the plugs too? You definetely should have. I highly suggest you take the vehicle to your mechanic to make sure all the cylinders are firing in correct order at the very least. Good Luck!
If the gap clearence and firing order is right, then the problem isn't come from the spark plug, show by now the Saet Ibiza Cupra Sport V8 is ready to throw out the V8 andrenaline inside. The problem could be come from fuel filter, a dirt might block inside or a dirt doesn't show until the spark plug was replace and the system back to normal. The dirt on filter or throttle could jam the system even for a while, a spark plug changes made the engine run better then before, the dirt could sucks to the combustion chamber and get burn. The release process and being burn made the effect like a missfiring.
