How do you change the spark plug wires on a mitsubishi eclipse spyder GS 4 Cyl 2001?

Chances are that you don't really need new wires. But if you do, use only genuine Mitsubishi parts. Purchase a Haynes or Robert Bentley manual for this car. It will help your understanding of things every day, in every way. Since this is used, the first thing i would do is a de-sludging treatment, to remove harmful internal deposits, and then keep the car on a steady diet of either the appropriate Mobil One oil, or ELF oil, from Europe. This will give you the best results, and protect the expensive internal engine parts the best, for the long haul. Also, make sure that you use only genuine Mitsubishi coolant in this car. It has a special chemical formulation that protects the engine from over-heating the best. Never believe in a %26quot;universal%26quot; coolant. oils, or even trans fluid. Mitsubishi trans fluid is unique to this car, as well. For asll these reasons, stay clear of bad advice from the local quick lube!!!! Good Luck!!

Remove the 2 plug wires, then the 2 coils, May have to change the coils if new boots are not available. Also, make sure the seals betwe4en the valve cover and spark plug wells are good, not allowing oil into the plug wells.
