No changing the plugs will have no affect on the firing order, however, if you mix the wires up when putting them back on that will cause problems. Solution is to do one plug at a time.

just make sure you dont mix up the plug wires when doing it, so you know they go back where they came off
Only if you get the wires mixed up. You can mark the wires #1 thru 6 or 8 with chalk or masking tape with a number on it. Just take it off when you have finished.
